Agitators

Agitators have a large, center mounted low speed blade. They efficiently pump large volumes of product with little or no shear. Agitators are most often used to mix or blend low viscosity products. A variety of configurations are available to meet various process requirements. Requests for customs designs are welcome. We have process engineers on staff to help design an agitator to meet most any application.

Features/Options Available

• Sizes from laboratory units to greater than 10,000 gallons
• Tank mounted or hoist mounted (hoist mounted units available in up to 1000 gallon capacity)
• Inverter, single speed, and two speed drives available
• Drywell reducers with rugged bearings designed for mixing applications are standard on tank mounted units, many other reducer styles are available
• Stainless steel or carbon steel material of construction
• Mill to highly polished finishes
• Typically designed for atmospheric operation, but vacuum or pressure designs are available
• Electrical components for hazardous or safe environments
