Disperser Blades

Blade wear has always been a factor in producing a cost effective, quality product. Worn blades can cost many hours of production time and increase raw material usage/waste. Our experience indicates that the average Disperser blade becomes inefficient when the teeth have worn by approximately 50%.

'D' Style "Ring" Blade

The 'D' blade, also known as the "Ring" blade, is a powerful tool for optimizing disperser performance. It consumes more horsepower than the saw tooth blade, typically runs at higher tip speeds (5700 + fpm) and performs more like a rotor stator.

'E' Style "Cutter" Blade

The 'E' style "Cutter" blade is best utilized for high vehicle viscosities and/or solids loading. The teeth are fewer and larger than those in a conventional saw-tooth type but with comparable shear or laminar flow. Teeth vary in height and are set at different angles of attack. Intermediate teeth are set and directed to assist flow feeding the others.

'F' Style High Sheer "Saw" Blade

The All-Around Blade

The 'F' style blade is interchangeable with all other manufacturer's standard high sheer blades and in fact will last much longer, produce more sheer and pumping action. Not only is our "F" blade designed with more surface area on the teeth but is also made of heavy gauge 304 stainless steel for longer life and better dispersion.

'G' Style Pumping "High-Vaned" Blade

The "High-Vaned" blade is specifically designed for maximum turbulent flow. It is best utilized for high-speed blending and agitation where a medium amount of sheer is required. It's extremely effective when used for heavy-bodied systems and/or thixotropic systems that are heat-sensitive yet may require more shear than can be obtained from standard paddle blade agitation.
